Therefore, we recommend that you visit this page every time you log in to our website. Makz Packaging owns every material we utilize in making our products. Moreover, we also have the right to provide free samples or present the custom-made boxes as a demonstration of our expertise and designs.

It is crucial to note that you are not allowed to utilize any portion of our website that includes 'our website contents, information, graphics, software, designs, trademarks, maps, models, icons, or any other material that is provided on our website without our written approval. The utilization of Makz Packaging’s web material, either duplicated, altered, stockpiled, republished, transmitted, or any other distribution, is not permitted.

User Conduct for our Website

  • You are solely responsible for the content you upload, send, or post on our website. When sharing material, you agree not to include any content, images, designs, trademarks, service marks, or copyrighted material belonging to others without proper approval from the owners. You also confirm that the material you share will not be obscene, illegal, or restrict other users from accessing our website. Additionally, you must not violate the intellectual property rights of Makz Packaging or any third party.
  • We do not control user-shared content and do not guarantee its validity.
  • Makz Packaging is not responsible for objectionable content.
  • We may update the website content and remove inappropriate material without consent.
  • We may also disclose content to comply with legal processes, enforce terms of service, address claims of rights violations, or protect our site and users.
  • Provide accurate information about our services. Misuse of the website is considered illegal, and legal action will be taken against fraudulent users.
  • You affirm that you have the necessary rights to place orders on our site. By using our website, you agree to be of legal age to make binding commitments.
  • Secure your password and control access to your account. You are responsible for all activities done through your account.
  • Access to specific site sections may require registration. We may request additional information if needed.
  • You are solely responsible for your password's privacy. If unauthorized access occurs due to your actions, you are accountable.
  • Your use of our site implies consent to our privacy policy. Ensure you read and understand our Privacy Policy as your information will be collected and used accordingly.

Insurance & Limitation of Liability

You agree to defend, indemnify, and stay harmless to Makz Packaging, including its workers, executives, employees, delegates, suppliers, partners, and representatives, from any damages and claims that are made against the organization arising from the wrongful conduct of the clients or unproven printing performed on the items by the organization as requested by the clients. This statement includes

  • Claims that violate the legal protection of any individual
  • Offensive events
  • Results from unapproved access to any password-protected limits of our site

In such circumstances, you are obligated to compensate us for any losses, damages, or expenses endured. That includes any legal fees and costs involved in the defense of any such claims.

The company will not be accountable for any accidental damages or misfortunes that harm any kind of agent, employee, marketing staff, or relevant professionals, whether caused by the use of our site or if any party was informed of such a possibility of damages.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action, including but not limited to negligence, arising from this agreement or your use of our site exceed the amount paid by you to Makz Packaging for the order or request.

Return & Refund Policy

In case you have a problem with the requirements you have provided, whether it is in printing or content, you have to inform our team within 3 working days from the day of receiving your order. If you find any defect in the printing, we can replace it, but we will not appreciate any refunds. Flawed checking will be handled by the administrative team. The clients are required to send the flawed piece returned (with pictures) to the organization and utilize their money within 7 business days to get the replacement. Also, accelerated checking will not be treated.

Payment, Order Replacements, and Cancellation

We utilize USD (U.S. dollars) for product pricing and payment processing on our website. Payments are accepted in the same currency. Upon receiving the full payment, which includes taxes and shipping charges, the company initiates the processing of your submitted orders through a legitimate payment source.

To place an order, you need to submit the final form for the requested product or service either electronically or by post. Once your order is finalized, it moves to the printing department for processing. Once an order enters the printing phase, no changes can be made.

However, there is a 4-hour window for order cancellation after proof approval, subject to a cancellation fee of $25 and a 5% deduction from the total order payment. The cancellation fee increases the longer you wait, reaching 50% of the total payment after 24 hours. This fee accounts for the time and resources already invested by the company in processing your order. However, cancellation after 24 hours is not permitted.

Design Orders

Refunds or credits are not provided for design service orders. Once a design order is placed, it is considered final and cannot be refunded or credited.

Sales Tax Policy

Sales tax is applied to all orders originating from the state of Texas in the U.S. If you are tax-exempt, please submit your tax exemption certificate when placing an order with us.

Customers Submitted Artwork and Information

Our team of professionals generates a firm or electronic copy from the artwork and files provided by website users as proof. It is essential to submit your artwork and files in CMYK format with a minimum resolution of three hundred dots per inch in the final size. Failure to meet this requirement may result in distorted, unclear, and pixelated prints, with changes in colors during the conversion to CMYK format.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and correctness of your artwork and files, including the alignment and orientation of submitted file pages. We are not liable for any harm, loss, or destruction of your artwork/file submissions, but we take precautions to prevent such losses.

By uploading content to our website, you confirm ownership or lawful use of the content. We reserve the right to reject orders deemed illegal or violating the rights of third parties. You are legally responsible for all material printed and processed based on your instructions. We may refuse any order without prior notice or explanation. Ensure that the material uploaded for custom box printing is not harmful, obscene, offensive, or profane.

Proofs and Color Accuracy

We demand that you carefully review your proof before approving it. Please compare it with the original file to identify potential errors in duplication, spacing, structure, punctuation, bleeds, size, crops, and final content. Ensure that the electronic proof does not exhibit issues like transparency, overprinting, or color changes resulting from file conversion to CMYK.

Note that the appearance of printed colors may be affected by lamination or UV coating, and we are not responsible for the final color appearance of laminated products.

For any ordered services or printing products, you are required to approve the proof either electronically or with a hard copy. Without this proof of approval, your order will not proceed to the printing press.

It is your responsibility to log in with your registered account and review and approve the required proof. We will not be held responsible for any delays caused by the non-approval of the proof by our customers or website users. The turnaround time, as mentioned on our website, will commence only after the proof approval has been submitted.

The customer will take full responsibility for all that is provided in the final approved proof

The color printed is derived from the submitted artwork file, but exact replication is constrained by built-in limitations in the printing processes and the ink requirements of adjacent images. Color accuracy cannot be guaranteed, and by placing an order, you acknowledge this system limitation. While our employees strive to achieve the closest color match, the company is not accountable for variations between the expected and printed colors.

No reprinting will be done for color alterations resulting from these system limitations. We do not assume responsibility for matching color, ink, or density on the printed products that you have approved. However, the company assures color precision and matching if a hard proof is ordered, though it comes at an additional cost.

No Liability for Errors

Makz Packaging is not liable for errors in the final product arising from:

  • Font, grammar, and spelling mistakes
  • Overprinting errors
  • Die lines, erroneous fonts, cropping marks, cracks in folds
  • Percolating marks, graphics punctuation
  • Difference in the finished size of the product

Overruns/Under-runs

Typically, we provide the exact quantity of products ordered, often including a slight surplus, at no extra cost to our customers. In the event of an under-run, your bill will reflect the quantity you received. Following the widely accepted trade practice, we deliver or deduct 5% of the ordered quantity, as applicable.

Production & Shipping

Our turnaround time and production speed begin once you've submitted your artwork, it's accepted by our pre-press department, you've approved the press-ready proof, and all dues are paid. You can choose the production speed during order placement, indicating the business days required for printing and handover to the shipping company. Proof of approval is expected before 10 AM, central standard time.

At Makz Packaging, we boast a network of strategically located production facilities to efficiently cater to your packaging needs. Our dedicated production team meticulously evaluates each job's requirements, pricing considerations, and turnaround times to determine the most suitable destination. Rest assured, regardless of the production location, we maintain unwavering standards of product quality and consistency. Once production commences, we ensure a seamless process, leaving you with unparalleled packaging solutions tailored to your specifications.

While we prioritize timely printing and delivery, Makz Packaging is not liable for consequences resulting from delays. You agree not to hold us accountable for delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as shipping company delays, adverse weather conditions, customs issues, equipment failure during printing, or technical problems. Expedited charges will be refunded in the event of delays. Note that orders will not be canceled due to printing delays.

You agree to cover all charges and costs for goods shipped to their respective destinations. Customers are responsible for arranging customs clearance for shipments outside the US. We offer a standard 12-14 business day shipment (with 4-5 business days for ground shipping) to any one location per order within the USA, without weight or quantity limits. Shipping to additional destinations incurs extra charges.

During shipment or delivery, we are not responsible for loss, delay, damage, or theft of printed products, and we do not guarantee transit times. Makz Packaging is not liable for shipping-related damages. Claims for damaged or lost shipments can be filed after 6 business days from the package shipment date.

Incorrect shipment delivery addresses or errors in providing the complete address will result in additional handling and shipping charges for re-shipment.

Changes in Terms and Website

We reserve the right to modify any part of our website, including terms and conditions, without prior notice. Changes are effective immediately, and your continued use of the site after modifications indicates your agreement.

Termination of Storage

The company may terminate storage with a written notice, requiring the removal of goods within fifteen (15) days. The customer is responsible for payment and must remove goods within this period. If not, the company may exercise its rights under applicable law, including selling or recycling the goods.

Payment Terms & Collection Expenses

Warehousing and storage accounts are due monthly in advance. Statements are issued in advance, and payment is due within 15 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Invoices not paid within 15 days are subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee.
